HELP no power

well guys i have not had the greatest luck ......
about a week ago i was drive my 87 4x4 down the highway and it ran fine.after making a stop for about an hour i started the van and headed home, it had no power almost like it was running on only 3cyl. and check all plugs , wires, dis.cap and button. all seem to be fine. what could be the problem. HELP.....
before this happened i was thinking of selling the van .

alternator or battery , yer gonna have to go through the steps .... could be any number of things ..

Did you see my post about no power? Tim called it for me: plugged cat converter. If you haven't read it maybe it will help if the symptoms are the same.

is it running rough or just no power? Auto or manual trans.? Fluids all ok?
Owner of the "Death Metal" a '87 4WD cargo conversion with 2.7 liter 3RZFE motor , 5 speed tranny, 8.5" lift, 33" tires, 12" extended wheelbase, 5.29 diff. gears, etc....
